TASHKENT-LAHORE FLIGHTS FROM JULY 2016

Islamabad-Director Tourism from the “Holidays Planners”, the company which is serving as GSA for Uzbekistan Airways in Pakistan, Mr Hamid Mahmood had a meeting with the officials from “Uzbekistan Airways” in Tashkent and it was decided that there would be two flights a week from Lahore to Tashkent starting from July 20, 2016. The number of flights can be increased in future.

 

 

UZBEK DELEGATION DISCUSSES COOPERATION IN COTTON SECTOR WITH A.P.T.M.A IN LAHORE

Lahore (Commerce Reporter)A four-member of Uzbek delegation visited the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) Office in Lahore on Thursday to discuss prospects of cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan in the field of cotton fiber trade.

The delegation headed by the Vice Chairman of State Export Company of Cotton of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kadirov gave presentation about the quality and capacity of Uzbek cotton industry.

UZBEKISTAN-PAKISTAN HAVE GOOD POTENTIAL TO PROMOTE TRADE - FURKAT SIDIKOV

Islamabad - H.E. Mr. Furkat A. Sidikov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and interacting with local business community said that his country was keen to enhance bilateral trade with Pakistan as both countries have good potential to promote trade relations in multiple areas.

Tashkent hosted 4th annual National forum of NGOs of Uzbekistan.

Nazia Fida Hussain - The National Association of NGOs of Uzbekistan organized the event in close collaboration with Independent Institute for Monitoring the Formation of Civil Society, Women's Committee of Uzbekistan, Ecological Movement, Public Fund for Support of NGOs and other civil society institutions under Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other partners.

UZBEK AMBASSADOR VISITS N.A.R.C IN FOLLOW UP OF PM NAWAZ VISIT TO UZBEKISTAN FOR COOPERATION IN AGRICULTURE SECTOR

Islamabad (Staff Reporter) His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Islamabad, Furkat A. Sidikov visited National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC) to seek bilateral collaboration in agricultural research and development between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. It was a follow-up visit in connection with Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Uzbekistan during November 2015.

PM NAWAZ DUE IN TASHQAND ON 17-18 NOVEMBER 2015 - UZBEK-PAK DIRECT LINK FROM MARCH APRIL NEXT YEAR

Islamabad (Tazeen Akhtar) Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is due in Tashqand Uzbekistan 17-18 November 2015 on state visit. This visit will certainly cement already brotherly ties more stronger and many agreements of furthering the existing cooperation will be signed.
