American Ambassador Congratulates 171 Pakistani Students for Participating in Year-Long Academic Exchange

Islamabad, July 17, 2016 – American Ambassador David Hale awarded certificates of completion yesterday to 66 students from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and northern Pakistan who recently returned from a yearlong academic exchange in the United States.  Ambassador Hale also met with 105 Pakistani secondary school students who will spend the 2016-2017 academic year in the United States.

Pakistan urges UN action to meet needs of displaced millions

UNITED NATIONS, June 28 : With 130 million people around the world requiring assistance and an unprecedented 65 million displaced, Pakistan has called for collective action, together with the necessary political will, to alleviate the suffering of those caught up in humanitarian crises.
