PAKISTAN KEEN TO INCREASE COOPERATION WITH UKRAINE IN ALL SECTORS INCLUDING DEFENCE PRODUCTION

Islamabad (Tazeen Akhtar) Federal Minister Defence Production Rana Tanvir Hussain has said that "Ukraine and Pakistan enjoy cordial relations and we have great desire to proceed further and strengthen our brotherly ties in shape of increase in bilateral relations especially in the field of defence production."

PRESIDENT OF PAKISTAN HOPEFUL FOR STRENGTHENING FRIENDLY TIES WITH UKRAINE

Islamabad (Staff Reporter)President Mamnoon Hussain has emphasized that Pakistan’s investment friendly policies needed to be promoted and urged the ambassador-designate to encourage Ukrainian investors to take advantage of the immense opportunities that Pakistan offers in diverse areas.

The President said this while talking to Pakistan’s ambassador-designate to Ukraine, Maj. Gen. (Retd) Athar Abbas, who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabadon Wednesday.

Pakistan was amongst the first courntries that recognised Ukraine as a soverign state after independence from Soviet Union. Two countries are cooperating with each other in different sectors including trade and defence.
