TURKMENISTAN HOSTS CENTRAL ASIAN INTERNATIONAL ECOLOGICAL FORUM

Ashgabat - Three days’ Central Asian international ecological forum under the slogan “Initiative for cooperation in the field of environmental and sustainable development in the Central Asia” began its work at “Yildyz” hotel in Ashgabat city on June 5, 2017.

THE FLAGSHIP OF THE TURKMEN-BELARUSIAN ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP PUT INTO OPERATION

On March 31, 2017 President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko attended the solemn ceremony of opening the ore-dressing and processing complex for production of potash fertilizers in Garlyk, Lebap Velayat. Opening the new facility, the leaders of the two states cut the symbolic ribbon at the central gates to the complex.

at the Olympic village in Ashgabat the press conference was organized dedicated to the V Asian Games indoors and martial arts, to be held from 17 to 27 September 2017 at the capital of Turkmenistan. The press conference was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Sport, the Executive Committee for the preparation of V Asian Games and the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan.

PAKISTAN JOINS ASHGABAT AGREEMENT AND LAPIS LAZULI CORRIDOR

ASHGABAT (Turkmenistan), Nov 26 (Editor's Desk + APP): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Saturday said the regional connectivity and economic integration were the key pillars of Pakistan's foreign policy and playing a role of gateway to the Central Asia.

Addressing the two-day Global Sustainable Transport Conference, he said in the emerging global and regional  environment, Pakistan was happy to play its role as gateway to the Central Asia.

PAKISTAN TURKMENISTAN INK 8 ACCORDS OF COOPERATION

ISLAMABAD, March 16 (APP): Pakistan and Turkmenistan on Wednesday inked eight accords on cooperation including a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on financial intelligence to curb money laundering and terrorism financing.
     

T.A.P.I GAS PROJECT GROUND BREAKING - TURKMENISTAN WILL SUPPLY GAS TO AFGHANISTAN -PAKISTAN AND INDIA

MARY, Dec 13 (Monitoring Desk): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Sunday joined the regional leaders to formally launch work on the historic Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) pipeline, the largest gas pipeline project in the region. The ground breaking ceremony of, what Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called the 'trailblazing project', was held near the city of Mary, the fourth largest and industrial city of the Central Asian state.

Islamabad - At the invitation of the President of Turkmenistan, Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Prime Minister will visit Turkmenistan on 12-13 December 2015. He will attend International Conference being convened in Ashgabat to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Permanent Neutrality. A number of Heads of State/Government have confirmed to attend the Conference. 

PAKISTAN TURKMENISTAN RESOLVE TO MAKE EARNEST EFFORTS FOR TAPI GAS PIPELINE

ASHGABAT - Pakistan and Turkmenistan on Wednesday resolved to make earnest efforts for early implementation of trans-regional TAPI gas pipeline project, terming it a game changer and a win-win situation for all stakeholders.

“We stressed the need for fast-track progress on trans-regional energy projects, including TAPI, to advance the goal of greater regional integration,” Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said while addressing a joint press conference along with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov here.
