Pak-Thailand Free Trade Agreement would be held soon in Bangkok

Islamabad (Editor Desk) Mr. Manopchai Vongphakdi, Director General for South Asian, Middle Eastern, and African Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with a delegation and said his country was keen to further improve trade relations with Pakistan as it was making sound economic progress and was a potential market for Thai products.

Pakistan Thailand vow to double trade and enhance economic cooperation

Islamabad (Staff Reporter)The prime minister's of Pakistan and Thailand on Tuesday expressed their desire to build a strong economic partnership, double their trade figures to $2 billion in the next five years and eventually enter into a Free Trade Agreement.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, addressing a joint press conference, expressed their commitment to collaborate in the field of trade, culture, infrastructure development, science and technology, defence, education and tourism.

BENAZEER OF THAILAND VISITS PAKISTAN

ISLAMABAD - Thai Prime Minister, Yingluck Shinawatra, will arrive Pakistan today (Tuesday) on two-day official visit to further promote bilateral relations.
This bilateral visit of Thai Prime Minister on the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will take place after more than a decade. Previously Dr Thaksin Shinawatra, brother of Prime Minister Yingluck, visited Pakistan in July 2002.

Track II dialogue on Pak, India ends in Bangkok

Bangkok ( Monitoring + DNA ) Key opinion makers from India and Pakistan, including parliamentarians, former diplomats, military officers, and media persons and policy experts met in Bangkok for the 12th round of the Chaophraya Dialogue from 17 – 18 July 2013, organized by the Jinnah Institute (JI) and the Australia India Institute (AII).

The Chaophraya Dialogue is an Indo-Pak Track-II initiative jointly undertaken by the Jinnah Institute (JI) and Australia India Institute (AII) to encourage informed discussion of bilateral relations and enhance stakes in peace.

Pak – Thai relations to be further strengthened

ISLAMABAD, April 24 (APP): Prime Minister Justice (retd) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso stressed for closer cooperation between the parliaments of Pakistan and Thailand, including regular exchange of parliamentary delegations.He was talking to a Thai parliamentary delegation led by President of Senate Nikom Wariatpancih, which called on him here at the PM House.
