Pre-Departure Orientation for the ScholarshipAwardees Held At the Embassy of Japan in Islamabad

Islamabad- The Embassy of Japan organized a pre-departure orientation for 15 Pakistani scholarship awardees who would be leaving for Japan shortly to study inJapaneseuniversities and institutes under various scholarship programsfunded by the Government of Japan.

Islamabad: 22 August 2017-HE Mr Takashi Kurai, Ambassador of Japan called on Federal Minister for Defence, Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan at Ministry of Defence, today. He felicitated the honorable Minister for assuming new office and highlighted that we live in a different security environment therefore we need to enhance the existing level of interaction in order to better understand each other’s perspective. He exemplified that ongoing crisis in Korean Peninsula is worry some for the regional countries especially for Japan.

Japan and UNODC stands committed to build the operational capacity of Anti Narcotics Force

Rawalpindi - Mr. Cesar Guedes, the UNODC Country Office Representative in Pakistan and Mr. Takashi Harada, Counsellor (Economic and Development), Embassy of Japan, handed over Five (5) Progeny ResQ Handheld Raman Analyzers to Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) during the handing-over ceremony at ANF Headquarters, Rawalpindi. 


Japan Provides Assistance worth US$ 290,148 to Four Pakistani NGOs for Social Development

Islamabad: 29th March 2017- The Government of Japan has extended financial support totalling US $ 290,148 (approx. Rs. 29,671,615) to four Pakistani non-governmental organizations for the implementation of social development projects in disadvantaged communities of the country.

Japan provides assistance worth US$ 83,230 for health facilities to the disadvantaged communities

Islamabad-The Government of Japan has extended a grant of US $ 83,230 to Al Mustafa Trust for installing new medical equipment at its medical center in Chaklala, Rawalpindi to better serve the underprivileged communities in surrounding areas.

Japan announced USD 7 million to UNHCR, WFP for Afghan Refugees & Host Communities

Islamabad, 9 March 2017: The government of Japan has announced a contribution of USD 7 million to UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and World Food Programme (WFP) to support the Afghan Refugees and host communities in Pakistan.

The official announcement was made by the Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Abdul Qadir Baloch and the Ambassador of Japan in Pakistan H.E. Mr. Takashi Kurai during a press event held in Islamabad.

PAKISTAN-JAPAN AGREE TO MAKE AUTOMOTIVE AS LEADING INDUSTRY OVER NEXT DECADE - INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELPMENT

اسلام آباد۔6نومبر (اردو سروس )وفاقی وزیر داخلہ چوہدری نثار علی خان نے کہا ہے کہ پاکستان اور جاپان کا لازوال دوستی کا رشتہ ہے جو ہمیشہ قائم رہے گا ، جاپان حکومت نے قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں اور پولیس کیلئے گاڑیوں کا تحفہ دیا ہے جو پولیس کے ساتھ ساتھ دیگر محکموں کو بھی دیئے جائیں گی ،اسلام آباد ٹریفک پولیس کو چالان میں 35 فیصد ادا کئے جائیں گے ،پولیس کو سیاسی اثر رسوخ سے آزاد کر دیا ہے اب پولیس بھی اپنا میعار بہتر بنائے ،معمولی غلطی کرنے والوں کی اصلاح کی جائے اور جتنا بڑا آدمی ہو اس کا چالان کیا جائے

JAPAN OFFERS HELP IN POLIO ERADICATION AND LADY HEALTH WORKERS PROGRAM

Islamabad (Staff Reporter)A high level delegation from Japan currently visiting Pakistan met the Minister for National Health Services Saira Afzal Tarar here today led by Secretary General of the Diet Task Force Dr. Kenzo Fujisue. Japanese investors are keen to invest in Pakistan – H.E. Hiroshi Inomata

Islamabad -The Japanese companies were taking great interest in Pakistan to invest in various sectors including energy and consumers goods and Pakistan need to further improve business environment by addressing issues like power shortage, infrastructure and security situation to attract more Japanese investment, observed H.E. Mr. Hiroshi Inomata, Ambassador of Japan while addressing business community at Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
