DANISH TRADE DELEGATION MEETS SHAHBAZ SHARIF EXPRESSES INTEREST IN INVESTMENT IN VARIOUS SECTORS IN PUNJAB

Lahore - Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that there are strong economic relations between Pakistan and Denmark, however, there is a need for further promotion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. All out measures will be taken for this purpose, he added. He said that there is a vast scope of investment in power, renewable energy, livestock & dairy development, mining, environmental protection and other sectors in Punjab and Danish companies should benefit from these investment opportunities.

FIRST OFFICIAL DANISH TRADE DELEGATION IN PAKISTAN

Islamabad - For the first time ever, an official Danish trade delegation is visiting Pakistan to look for new business opportunities and partners. The companies represent different sectors. Some see opportunities in areas, where Pakistan faces challenges, such as energy. While the volume of trade between Denmark and Pakistan has been increasing, the potential is still significantly larger.

‘CREATIVE DENMARK’ PROMOTES PEACE AND HARMONY

Islamabad - Tazeen Akhtar - The Ambassador of Denmark, Mr. Jesper Moller Sorensen has said that we are trying our best to bring business community of both countires closer and closer. Our aim is to enhance mutual trade and economic relations but we can only facilitate the business community. 7 PAKISTANI COMPANIES VISIT DENMARK

Islamabad- Starting Monday, seven Pakistani companies will spend a week in Denmark to seek new partners and business opportunities. The companies are engaged in the sectors of renewable energy and energy efficiency. During their stay in Denmark, they will meet prominent Danish companies within areas such as wind energy, water technology and solar energy and participate in site visits that show-case the most relevant Danish technologies

Copenhagen-Danish Pakistani Business Council yesterday in collaboration with the Danish Chamber of Commerce, the Pakistani embassy in Copenhagen and the Board of Investment of Pakistan held a very successful conference with over 100 participants from both the Danish and Pakistani business community.
