“Denmark celebrates key milestones of its Pakistan development program”

Islamabad(Ume Laila)Around 5.7 million people have benefited from the Government of Denmark’s support to the Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) which has supported in revitalizing the economy and improving education and health services in KP, FATA and Balochistan. Denmark’s partnership with MDTF was one of the many partnerships and achievements presented at an event organized by the Embassy of Denmark, marking the end of its development program 2010 – 2017 in Pakistan.

Danish-Pakistani Affairs Council honors high achievers with Excellence Awards

Copenhagen, 6th March, 2017: The Danish Pakistani Affairs Council based in Denmark has honored three outstanding young Danes of Pakistani origin with Excellence Awards for their great contributions to the Danish society, marking the important role and contributions being made by the Pakistani community in Denmark.

The awards were announced at a special award ceremony organized by DPAC in Copenhagen, Denmark and were given in the fields of Career, Education and Sports.

Denmark celebrates art and culture of Pakistan

President calls for continued efforts to check high prevalence of diabetes in Pakistan

November 13, Islamabad: Pakistan may have eighth highest population of diabetic patients worldwide by 2040 if proper measures for awareness and treatment are not adopted. Such high prevalence of diabetes in Pakistan calls for continued efforts to improve public awareness on diabetes care and treatment, so these alarming figures may be restrained. This was the key message from President Mamnoon Hussain while attending the Diabetes Awareness Walk and Blue-lightening ceremony in commemoration of 25th World Diabetes Day.

PAK- DENMARK COOPERATION IN TREATMENT OF DIABETES - LoU SIGNED

Islamabad (Staff Reporter)The Ministry of National Health Services, Government of Pakistan has signed a Letter of Understanding (LoU) with Danish pharma company Novo Nordisk Pakistan to improve awareness and education on diabetes. The longterm mutual strategic cooperation aims to improve the current and future diagnosis, treatment and care of people with diabetes in Pakistan, and ultimately preventing the debilitating complications of this disease.
 

DENMARK AND PAKISTAN ENTER INTO NEW DEFENSE COOPERATION PROGRAM

Islamabad: The Government of Denmark has launched a new defense cooperation program with Pakistan. The program was launched by the Danish Vice-Chief of Defense, Lieutenant General Per Ludvigsen, who is currently visiting Pakistan for the program launch along with delegation members from the Royal Danish Defense College.

The launch ceremony was held in Islamabad and was attended by high-level dignitaries from the Pakistani Government, military, diplomatic corps including senior defense analysts.
