FOUNDATION UNIVERSITY INKS MoU WITH SHANGHAI UNIVERSITY

Islamabad: The Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) and Shanghai Lixin University of Commerce (SLUC), China inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster cooperation between the two Institutions of higher learning. The MoU was signed by Mr. Guoming ZHOU, Vice President, SLUC and Maj Gen Dr. Akhtar Waheed, HI(M) (Retd), Director Foundation University Islamabad Campus.

ASIAN INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT BANK - A DREAM COMING TRUE BY THE END OF THE YEAR

Monitoring Desk-Representatives of the 50 prospective founding members of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank on 29 June 2015 morning signed the bank's articles of agreement (AOA), laying the ground rules for officially inaugurating the multilateral lender.Articles of association in Beijing will be submitted to each nation’s legislature for approval, and the bank is expected to be formally established before the end of the year.

The rest of the seven prospective founding members have not yet signed the agreement as they are waiting for domestic approval.
