Think Tank shapes China-U.S. relation after 2018 Midterm Elections

Pakistan think tank organized a seminar on “Where Does Pakistan Stand in Global Trade War?’ earlier this year, SDPI member Mrs. Roubina Ather said “We should not be over-concerned on the on-going global trade war mainly between China and the US, as unfortunately or fortunately, Pakistan is not so much integrated in the global value chain”.

Islamabad(Staff Reporter)President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that Pakistan and China are all-weather strategic partners and Pakistan attaches the highest priority to its close relations with China.

The President said this while talking to Ambassador of China to Pakistan Yao Jing who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Monday.

Beijing (Monitoring Desk) Spokersperson of China's Foreign Ministry has said that the debt incurred by CPEC makes up a very small proportion of Pakistan’s debt composition and it is not to blame for the current financial difficulty in Pakistan.The relevant measures should not affect the normal bilateral cooperation between China and Pakistan.
