Pakistan, Bosnia agree to strengthen ties in trade, defence, agriculture

SARAJEVO (Bosnia), Dec 21 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the Chairman of Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (prime minister) Dr Denis Zvizdic on Wednesday agreed to strengthen ties in the field of trade, defence, agriculture and textiles.

Islamabad (DNA) –Ambassador of Bosnia to Pakistan Nedim Makarevic has said his country offers huge incentives to Pakistani businessmen adding he was concentrating much on promoting cultural relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Nedim expressed these views while giving an exclusive interview to DNA on Friday.

The ambassador further said people to people contacts between the two counties had also been improved. He termed Pakistan his second home.

Dr. Nedim Makarevic's book "Influence of IT on Security on Banks' Competitiveness " launched in Pakistan

Islamabad - Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Nedim Makarevic's book "Influence of IT on Security on Banks' Competitiveness " was launched here in Pakistan on July 9 ,in an impressive ceremoney that was attended by a large number of notables from all walks of life including diplomats, intellectuals, writers, think tanks, bankers, IT experts and industrielists of twin cities.

The study presents an empirical analysis about the dependence of competitiveness on IT Security in German banks.

Zardari assures Bakir Pakistan’s commitment to the unity and territorial integrity of Bosnia Herzegovina.

Islamabad; October 9, 2012: President Asif Ali Zardari Tuesday said that Pakistan values its relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina and called for further strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries in all fields, especially in the economic and commercial realm. The President assured his Bosnian counterpart all out support and cooperation of Pakistan’s government in boosting bilateral trade ties.

Bosnian President to visit Pakistan on today

ISLAMABAD, October 08 (DNA): President of Bosnia and Herzegovina‚ Bakir Izetbegovic arrives in Islamabad today on a two-day official visit to Pakistan.
He is undertaking the visit on the invitation of President Asif Ali Zardari. Bosnian President will meet President Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf to discuss bilateral relations and regional situation.

Ministers for Foreign Affairs and Defence will also call on the Bosnian President. The National University of Science and Technology will confer an honorary degree of doctorate on President Izetbegovic.

Bosnian president to visit Pakistan from Tuesday

ISLAMABAD, Oct 06 (DNA): President of Bosnia, Herzegovina Bakir Izet begovic will arrive in Islamabad on Tuesday on a two-day visit to Pakistan at the invitation of President Asif Ali Zardari. Foreign Office spokesman on Saturday said during his stay‚ he will meet President Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf while Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence will also call on the Bosnian President.

The National University of Science and Technology will award him a degree of honorary doctorate.
