Turkish Delegation - Adviser Aviation Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Up-gradation of PIA

Islamabad(Staff Reporter)Ambassador of Turkey in Pakistan Mr. Mustafa Yurdakul called on Advisor to the Prime Minister on Aviation Sardar Mathab Ahmad Khan here in Islamabad on Thursday. Besides, Chief Executive Officer of Hi-tech Information Technology, Nur Gokman and other high officials of PIA and aviation division were also present on this occasion. The officials discussed the affairs to extend mutual interest and cooperation in different avenues particularly in the arena of Information technology to upgrade the level of PIA.

Turkish Ambassador Mustafa Yurdakul appreciated the Advisor to Prime Minister on Aviation Sardar Methab Khan to take revolutionary and ground breaking measures in order to restructuring Pakistan International Airlines and for the betterment of Aviation sector in Pakistan as well as to restore the image and operations of PIA. Both officials exclaimed with joy that the policies and measures are trend setters for various other sectors of Pakistan and Turkey.

Advisor to Prime Minister on Aviation Sardar Methab Khan said that Turkey and Pakistan are enjoying a long lasting bond of true friendship and they share the same sentiments of brotherhood. Both countries have been friends and supported each other in time of war as well as peace. He said that PIA is reinstating its lost positing in international dome and we are very vigilant and concerned to upgrading its operations. We acknowledge the importance and growing demands of IT and National carrier requires best IT system to improve its standards and operations and to bring PIA at par with other airlines of the world.

He appreciated and thanked the Turkish Ambassador to join hands with PIA and to extend its IT services for the up-gradation of IT system in PIA. Turkish Ambassador assured the Adviser that the existing cooperation in the aviation sector between the two countries will continues. He said that we are ready to work closely to provide further assistance to the Pakistan in the aviation sector. Adviser thanked the Ambassador and expressed that Pakistan and Turkey have very strong bond and added that both countries are embracing strong relations with every passing day.15 Feb 2018
