Singapore: Oct 22- The Singapore Red Cross organized its annual Red Cross International Bazaar on 21 October 2012 (Sunday) , to raise funds for its local humanitarian programmes in order to help the disabled, elderly and vulnerable . The President of Singapore, President Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam was the Guest of Honour at this event.

The International Bazaar brought together diplomatic missions and local enterprises in a dazzling 80-stall showcase, with 100% sales proceeds going to a good cause. Besides serving up international cuisine, traditional products, and local delights, this biennial event also served to enhance community spirit amongst local families, expatriates and diplomatic corps

Pakistan Stall attracted huge crowds to buy chicken biryani, chicken karahi, shami kebab and handicrafts. President Tony Tan Keng Yam visited the Pakistani stall and appreciated it. KPK Minister for Tourism Syed Aqil Shah, Secretary Tourism Jamal Udin Shah also came to the Pakistani stall and lauded the efforts of High Commissioner for Pakistan in Singapore Syed Hasan Javed for promoting Pakistani culture and tourism. A group of Pakistani students of NUS performed bhangra dance in front of the President of Singapore, invited guests and spectators. Pakistani ladies together with Mrs. Shahnaz Javed wife of the High Commissioner worked hard to make Pakistan Stall among the major stalls of attraction.
