Abu Dhabi; 13 April 2013 { PR } Pakistan has started approaching multinational corporations in an attempt to do a survey in human resource needs of mega companies in the world. Well-established and well-reputed companies from across the globe are being contacted in order to develop a projection of their 20 years requirements of human resource in all categories, said Ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE, Mr. Jamil Ahmed Khan.

In this context, Ambassador Jamil Ahmed Khan has directed his commercial and community welfare wings to gear up their efforts to complete the survey in coming few months.

Ambassador Khan said that 120 million youth of Pakistan below the age of 30 years are an asset that could be deployed for regional and trans-regional development in the world where some countries are witnessing population depletion due to reduced growth rate and aging population. Pakistan has already enhanced its vocational training system with its certification of renowned organizations like City & Guilds, Giz and ISO, he added.

He further said that the multinational corporations may however enter into joint venture projects with Pakistani entities whereby they can get free of cost building premises for the purpose of training of human resource requirements of their respective sectors with full quality control in their hand.

The envoy urged the commercial and community welfare attachés of the Embassy and Consulate General in Dubai that the commercial viability of human resource projects, such as this, could go a long way in poverty alleviation and countering extremism & terrorism in the country.
