A twenty member team of the Pakistan Cricket Association for the Physically Handicapped (PCAPH), visited Switzerland from 10-17 September, 2014 and played five friendly matches with various local cricket clubs in Geneva, Vaud and Berne. The first time visit of PCAPH was sponsored by Geneva International Cricket Club (GICC) with the idea to provide opportunity to the physically handicapped cricket players from Pakistan to play cricket in Switzerland and to demonstrate that their handicap did not discourage them to compete internationally against opponents who did not suffer from similar physical challenges.

According to a release from the embassy of Pakistan in Switzerland during their visit to Berne, the team was received at the Chancery by the Ambassador of Pakistan who also witnessed their T20 match against Berne Cricket Club. The team left for Pakistan from Geneva on 17 September, 2014.
