Pak-Sweden Relations Satisfactory,People-to-People contacts may add to it.

Report,Feb 2, 2012,Relations between Pakistan and Sweden were characterised by friendship and cooperation.Both countries continue discussions focused on matters relating to Pakistan-Sweden bilateral trade and measures to increase the scope of bilateral economic relations. Both sides expresse satisfaction that trade and business interaction between the two countries was picking up. They underline the importance of enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries Prospects for increasing bilateral trade and investments had improved and efforts needed to be made to encourage greater business-to-business and people to people contacts and overall economic collaboration. Both sides agree to exchange views on issues of mutual interest on a regular basis. The two sides also agree to develop closer relations and take further steps to expand and strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields.In Dec 2010 Pakistan and Sweden  agreed to further strengthen their bilateral relations and vowed to take them at new heights particularly in the field of economic, trade, commerce and security. Addressing a joint press conference here at Foreign Office, following bilateral talks, the Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi said  “We have common challenges and let us join hands to face it .”Referring to bilateral relations with Sweden, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan has very good relations with Sweden and with the visit of Swedish Foreign Minister these relations will be further strengthened.The Swedish Foreign Minister said the discussion remained fruitful. He said Sweden has been trying to make an effective contributor to democratic Pakistan following the revival of democracy.He said a democratic Pakistan can make good progress in the world.
