JAUHAR SALEEM - NEW AMBASSADOR OF PAKISTAN ARRIVES IN BERLIN

Berlin -20 Jan- Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to Germany, Mr. Jauhar Saleem arrived in Berlin, to assume his new diplomatic assignment. He was received at the Tegel Airport by the Charge d’ Affaires, Mr. Ameer Khurram Rathore and other officers of the Mission.

In his arrival statement, Mr. Jauhar Saleem said that he would continue working for further expansion and strengthening of existing relations between Pakistan and Germany, particularly in the fields of trade and investment, cultural diplomacy and education.

A seasoned diplomat, Mr. Jauhar Saleem joined Pakistan’s Diplomatic Corps at the young age of 23 and served on important positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as at Pakistan Missions abroad. His previous Ambassadorial assignments were to Bosnia & Herzegovina (2008-2011) and Bahrain (2011-2014).
